
A word from Moonrock CEO, John Benyamine
Moonrock, as we know it today, didn't exist eighteen months ago. John Gaudiosi and I set out to leverage our past experiences to build a new game-focused agency that truly resonates with gamers through cutting-edge strategies. We've stayed ahead in a constantly evolving market by diving into UGC like Roblox and Fortnite, finding fun and innovative connections between digital and physical realms, and expanding our content marketing and event presence. We’ve built up a world class team of experts, from development to media, content to events, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone at Moonrock.
Our journey wouldn't be possible without our incredible relationships. GALE is a great partner, our oldest, and they’ve helped us connect with major names like H&R Block, Wells Ice Cream, and MilkPEP. Collaborating with Walmart and their awesome in-house teams has allowed us to bring daily video game content to life through our new brand, Restart. Our partnership with Samsung, through the fantastic team at TMS, has been transformative, culminating in six events to wrap up our inaugural year together. We're also proud to serve as the agency of record for Rocket League and Epic Games. And not to forget, we've achieved amazing things with companies like Tencent, Princess Cruises, Ally Bank, and many more in just the last few months.
As we enter the early days of an important Q4, we're taking a moment to reflect on our most recent achievements in both digital and live arenas. When we committed to Moonrock eighteen months ago, we were venturing into uncharted territory. Today, we're proud of the strides we've made and want to highlight some of our work with our first lookbook.



Breaking New Waves: Non-Endemic Brands in Gaming

Walmart's Flagship Editorial Games Outlet: Restart.run
In the rapidly evolving world of gaming, Moonrock has emerged as a pivotal force in bridging the gap between non-endemic brands and the gaming community. Our collaboration with Walmart to launch Restart.run exemplifies our approach. Restart.run is not just a website; it is a foundational, dynamic platform that combines traditional games journalism with retail opportunity, allowing gamers to seamlessly transition from reading about the latest games to purchasing them directly on Walmart’s online store.
Princess Cruises: Nautical Quest

Similarly, our partnership with Princess Cruises for Nautical Quest on Minecraft represents a groundbreaking fusion of digital and real-world experiences. By crafting a custom-built digital labyrinth within Minecraft, we transformed a traditional cruise into an interactive adventure that captivated over a million unique viewers.
Ally Bank Discord Overhaul

Moonrock partnered with Ally Bank to launch a targeted Discord engagement campaign aimed at enhancing Ally's digital community presence. This activation leveraged gamified events, exclusive content drops, and community-driven activities to create a vibrant and engaged online community on Discord.
The campaign was amplified through strategic social media channels, including Twitter and Instagram, to maximize reach and engagement. This initiative not only increased Ally Bank's visibility in the digital space but also reinforced its commitment to building strong, interactive communities.


Empowering Women in Esports
Moonrock's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the gaming industry is exemplified by our role in organizing The Milk Cup, the largest women-only Fortnite tournament in history. This groundbreaking event was not just about competition; it was about creating a platform for women gamers to showcase their skills and challenge the status quo in professional gaming.

By bringing in partners like Raidiant and eFuse, Moonrock ensured that every aspect of The Milk Cup was designed to empower and uplift women in gaming. From the all-woman production team to the inclusive event broadcasts, The Milk Cup was a celebration of female talent and a step towards closing the gender gap in esports.
